Hi,

my name is Wolf. As nick I chose 'lup'...stands for 'lupus' (wolf).
I ived in Africa for 23 years of my life so far. A time I will never forget.
English used to be our language at hone...and - of ourse - at work. I travelled, visited and worked in several African countries. In South Africa I learnt to speak Zulu for professional reasons. But I got emotionally very much attracted by its rich world of idiomatic language...and by the sound of its music.

German is my mother tongue. At school I learnt Latin, Classical Greek, Ancient Hebrew, a bit of English as well. French, yeah..beautiful...however, I never found an opportunity to practice it. At the moment I concentrate on reviving my Latin and enjoy the dicussions in the Latin Forum at Pauker.at. It's great to see how people here help one another using their own personal resources. To habe a friend with whom I could communicate in Latin would be truely fascinating. By the way, I live in Hannover, Germany.

Hobbies? Photography, Psychology..I do some counselling, drawing pictures/portraits, Walking (the modern fashion in general sports). Now and then I afford the luxury of visiting lectures (on psychology) at the local university. Most of all, I greatly treasure my friends.

Meine Kinder sind englischsprachig aufgewachsen. Gebe auch Nachhilfe in Englisch. Ich übersetze sowohl vom Englischen ins Deutsche als auch umgekehrt.
Zulu	Mittel	Habe Zulu aus beruflichen Gründen gelernt und mehrere Jahre in SA sehr gerne praktiziert. Eine wunderbare Sprache. Leider bin ich aus der Übung. Vielleicht kommt jemand von euch ja aus Zululand, Durban oder Johannesburg. Ake ungilobele incwadi. Ngingajabula kakhulu ukuzwa kuwe ngempela.
Lateinisch	Anfänger	Salvete lectores carissimi! Linguae latinae dicipulus sum. Vor über 40 üahren habe ich mal mein Latinum absolviert. Und seitdem praktisch nicht mehr parktiziert. Ein Neustart steht jetzt an. Übe jeden Tag in der Grammatik ....Satzübungen...Wortkunde...und Vokabeln büffeln...kenn' ich das nicht von früher?! Naja, das muss wohl sein, wenn man es schaffen will und Spaß dazu haben möchte. Also - wer schreibt mir einen Brief auf Latein? Schreibe auch bestimmt zurück. Selbstverständlich auch auf Latein - so gut ich eben kann. Hoffe auf Fortschritte.
